Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Ambrose,

St. Lawrence of Brindisi

I would imagine by now most, if not all, those who are reading this have been touched by the COVID-19 virus.  I have had several extended family members (much younger than me) who tested positive and are now recovering.  Some of our own parishioners have been infected.  Relatives and friends of parishioners are testing positive with varying degrees of symptoms (some asymptomatic).  All of these have asked for our prayers.  This virus just doesn’t seem to want to go away.  At St. Ambrose we will continue to provide as safe an environment as possible for those who worship with us.  As the numbers of cases in Madison County are increasing, I implore you to be safe and follow the recommended CDC and government guidelines.  Just to be clear: we have had no known persons with COVID-19 at our Masses or Communion Services.

May God bless you and keep you safe!  Please do your part to stay safe.
