Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate Update

First profession of vows for the Novices will take place on Saturday, August 1 and then they are on their way to their next phase in formation.  We have missed their presence at St. Ambrose for the past four months.  We are grateful for the time they were able to worship with us from August 2019-March 2020.

Fr. Frank Kuczera has been appointed the new Director of NovicesFr. Humphrey Milimo will remain as Associate Novice DirectorBr. Pat McGee will begin a sabbatical after serving as the Director of Novices for past several years.  The Novitiate will temporarily relocate to Belleville while their property at the end of Levis Lane is renovated over the next year (or so).

I’ve invited Fr. Frank to preside at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, July 26.  Fr. Humphrey will concelebrate.  Br. Pat will proclaim the readings and the Novices will provide music as prelude and postlude.  During this Mass we will extend a special blessing to the Oblates as begin this new chapter in their lives.

Due to current safety measures, a reception and/or receiving line will not be possible this year.  Please keep our Oblates in your prayers.
