40 Days for Life Event ~ The visible, public centerpiece of 40 Days for Life is a focused, 40-day, non-stop, round-the-clock prayer vigil outside a single Planned Parenthood center or other abortion facility in your community. It is a peaceful and educational presence. Those who are called to stand witness during this 24-hour-a-day presence send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion.

Attention Ladies of St. Ambrose! The Women’s Group is offering a day trip to Kimmswick, MO on Thursday, October 28, 2021. We will board our motorcoach and leave St. Ambrose at 8:45 a.m. Today we will learn about the history of this little river town found on the banks of the Mississippi River. Our day will begin at the Kimmswick Visitor’s Center where you will view a short film about the city and from there we will embark on a short city tour. You might be surprised at how much history is housed in the streets of this small and unique town. Lunch will follow at the Blue Owl where Mary, the owner will invite you into her restaurant, home to the mile high apple pie. A trip to Kimmswick is not complete without some time to shop the little boutiques and unique stores – over 30 of them! We should return to St. Ambrose at approximately 3:30 p.m. The cost of this day trip is $58 and checks should be made to the St. Ambrose Women’s Group. Have more questions? Please call Linda Jun at 618-975-3074. Reservation forms are available or just print your name, address and phone number along with your check and mail it to St. Ambrose or drop it in the collection in an envelope marked “St. Ambrose Women’s Group”.
