Our Sister Parish San Juan Bautista Parish in Yupiltepeque, Jutiapa – Guatemala

 

We donated over $13,000 dollars to our Sister Parish last year, demonstrating that Catholic truly means universal. That amount allocated in percentages was:

 

  • Vehicle Repair 23%
  • Food 19%
  • Gas 13%
  • Diocese Priest health care, seminarian fund, catechism materials, and training 13%
  • Church/Liturgical Supplies 11%
  • Utilities 9%
  • Chapel Repairs 4%
  • Parish Workers 4%
  • Retreats 4%
  • Lay Minister Training 1%

 

The largest expense is for vehicle use. Our Sister parish consists of seven different churches some of which are in areas of unpaved roads and rugged terrain.
