Drip, drip, drip. It's a sight (and sound) we all dread ... the leaky roof.

Our church roof was installed when the church was built in the 1970s. Recent roof assessments/investigations have determined that St. Ambrose Catholic Church is greatly in need of a new Church roof. Rainstorms have highlighted the problem as many buckets have to be placed all around the Sanctuary to catch water. Some of these leaks are in new areas, meaning the problem is spreading and growing. We need to protect our worship space as soon as possible.

Our Building and Grounds team, along with Fr. Steve and our Finance Council, have been working hard to consider all our options. It has been determined that a new shingle roof is the best. With a new roof and necessary guttering, the cost is just under $200,000. We will need to commit with a contractor soon in order to have the work completed in 2025.

Our #𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐲 campaign has a goal of raising the 20% down payment for the project ... $𝟒𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎!

Large-scale improvements like this are expensive and not a lot of fun, but necessary. We need all of our family and friends of St. Ambrose to contribute if they can.
