Volunteer Opportunities

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are many ways for every parent or guardian to get involved. Hours may include all work within our parish community (church, fundraisers, school activities, lunchroom, library, PSR, Children’s Ministries, Music Ministry, and so much more!).

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

In conjunction with volunteering your time, the Springfield Diocese requires all volunteers to follow specific requirements prior to your volunteering. These requirements are outlined in Diocese's Safe Environment Program. Please contact the Parish Office for details on how to get started at 618-466-2921, ext. 2.

• Lunch Volunteers
• Family Movie Night Volunteers - Friday, December 13th
• Reading Volunteers the 2024-2025 school year. Each year we seek out 1-2 volunteers (volunteers are appropriately vetted before working with students) with our younger grades to provide additional 1 on 1 or small group reading opportunities. Interested volunteers should email Mr. Baird at rbaird@stambrosegodfrey.org
• December 18 Christmas Feast Volunteers
• Two additional librarians are needed. Contact Mr. Baird if interested.
