GRANDPARENTS' & GRANDFRIENDS' DAY

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH

Grandparents’ & Grandfriends’ Day recognizes the importance of our heritage, our community, and relationships across generations. So we invite you to a celebration! Friday, September 6, 2024.

Your start time will depend on the last name of your YOUNGEST GRANDCHILD.

(*Note: If you have multiple families of grandkids in the school. Please go by the last name of the youngest grandchild).

• 9:15 AM Church Prayer Service: Youngest Grandchild's Last Name A-K
• 10:15 AM Church Prayer Service: Youngest Grandchild's Last Name L-Z

After your scheduled prayer service, please proceed to the school to visit your grandchild’s classroom. You may enter classrooms through the children's exterior classroom doors or through the side or main entrances of the school. Staff will be available to direct you. Then head to the Community Center for a treat together.

Please park in the upper or lower parking lots (there are stairs to get to the church from the lower parking lot).

If special assistance is needed, please use upper parking lot.

The church will open NO EARLIER than 10 minutes prior to the start time you are signed up for.

Sit in a pew that will fit the appropriate amount of people in your party and preferred distancing. The kids will come to your seat at the scheduled prayer service time. There will be greeters to assist you.

CAN'T MAKE IT?

If your child has a grandparent(s) who cannot attend the event, please ask them to write a note to their grandchild and put it in a sealed envelope for the child to open and read on Grandparents & Grandfriends Day. Grandparents pass it along to the school office or they can mail the note directly to the school:
